This document is intended to provide manufacturer guidance for the re-issuance of the EasyStand and Zing standing devices.   When an EasyStand or Zing standing frame is transferred to a secondary user it should go through an inspection and refurbishment process.

Altimate Medical recommends that the issuance of any standing frame, new or used, be configured to the users’ needs via a proper evaluation process.

The expected service life of Altimate Medical Standing Products is considered 5 years under normal use conditions.  Altimate Medical does not recommend re-issuing any product that is past its expected service life.

Each standing frame produced by Altimate Medical is marked with a unique device identification label.  This label includes the model, intended user height range and weight maximum, year of manufacture, unique product identifier, and serial number.   Altimate Medical requires the serial number of the unit be provided when any replacement parts are ordered.

Use the attached checklists for identifying and replacing components on an EasyStand or Zing standing frame prior to re-issue.  This guide aims to provide useful information, but it may not cover every unique circumstance.  Contact Altimate Medical’s customer service for assistance.
